Baptism is administered to people of all ages. Parents may request to have their children baptized.
Baptism is the sacrament of initiation and incorporation into the body of Christ, therefore, baptism is a rite of the whole church,
which ordinarily requires the participation of the gathered, worshipping congregation.
Holy Communion is served during the third Sunday of each month plus on World Communion Sunday and Maunday Thursday.
Participation is open to all who love Jesus Christ, repent of sin and seek to live as Christian disciples.
The children of our church usually commune with their families.
Our pastors take communion to Brookview Manor and United Retirement Center on the second Thursday of each month.
Lay persons take communion to homebound members once per month. Communion is available at other times by request.
Weddings are performed after consultation with either one of our pastors. Usually the weddings are held in our sanctuary, but they may be performed at other locations.
Our pastors meet with the couple for pre-marital counseling and wedding planning prior to the rehearsal and the wedding.
Our Wedding Committee is pleased to serve at receptions held in our Dining Room.
Funerals are held in our sanctuary for both members and non-members.
Together family and friends surrender the spirit of their loved one into God's eternal care and find strength and support from one another.
Usually Love-in-Action volunteers and our Funeral Committee host family and friends for a noon meal or a coffee fellowship following the service.
