VBS is getting nearer and nearer. We have lots of fun things planned so be sure to enroll your child so they can take part in all the festivities! VBS is for children 3 years old - 6 grade. The addition of the 6 graders is recent as they have shown an interest in attending - so we said sure - we’d love to have them!

Registration slips are in the narthex, so you can register at your convenience. CD’s of VBS music ($7) and t-shirt transfers ($1) are available on Sunday’s in the narthex and in Gretchen’s office during the week.

Food donations - if you would like to donate food for the meals which are served to VBS families each night, there are signup sheets at the registration table.

Canopies, Tents, Dining Tents - we will need canopies, dining or screened-in tents for VBS again this year as we will be in the lot to the west of the education building. If you have a canopy or dining tent you would be willing to let us borrow, please let Gretchen, Dusty or Penny know.

VBS Needs: One of the activities during VBS will be supplying and filling school bags, which will be sent to Haiti. The children will be asked to bring supplies during the week of VBS, but we would appreciate the congregation’s donations as well. Supplies needed:
    • (1) pair blunt scissors (rounded tip)
    • (3) pads (or loose leaf) 8 ½ x 11" ruled paper
    • (1) 30-centimeter ruler
    • (1) hand-held pencil sharpener
    • (6) unsharpened pencils with erasers
    • (1) 2 ½” eraser
    • (1) box of 24 crayons (only 24)


Please do NOT deviate from items on this list by purchasing bigger, different or “better” items. Regulations are very strict from UMCOR about what can be sent. Boxes for supplies are in the narthex and the north doors. Thanks!
